Panerai Luminor Marina – 44mm Guillaume Neri Edition PAM01122

Panerai has launched a limited edition to celebrate its partnership with world freediving champion and brand ambassador, Guillaume Néry. The Luminor Marina – 44mm Guillaume Néry Edition (Ref. PAM01122) was presented at the replica Panerai Laboratorio di Idee in Neuchatel, Switzerland by direct metal laser sintering, an advanced 3D printing technique. Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) technology is applied to the original titanium case.

Measuring 44mm in diameter and 16.2mm thick, the sandblasted DMLS titanium case exudes a masculine look in its own right. Due to the nature of the titanium material, it is very light compared to its size, has excellent corrosion resistance, and is human-friendly, so it does not cause skin allergies. The dome bezel and crown are a bit unusual (?) with black rubber on a titanium base, adding a unique feel. On the other hand, the screw caseback uses titanium with black DLC coating. Meanwhile, you can also check out the domed corundum glass and the iconic patented crown guard (safety lock crown protector).
And the gradation-treated black dial catches the eye. It expresses the shade of sunlight reflected in the depths of the sea, and the brand refers to it as Dégradé, inspired by a fashion term derived from France. The two-tone black sandwich dial, which subtly darkens from the center of the dial outward, blends seamlessly with the matte titanium case and black rubber-coated bezel.
The movement is equipped with an in-house automatic caliber P.9010 with a double barrel design that guarantees a power reserve of about 3 days. Although the movement cannot be appreciated using the screw caseback made of black DLC-coated titanium, the silhouette of Guillaume Neri, freediving into the deep sea, is specially engraved on the caseback to add meaning. What’s more, we promise a ’70 Years Warranty’, or 70-year warranty. As an unprecedented and unprecedented warranty service introduced last year to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Luminor, the Luminor Marina DMLS model (Ref. PAM01117), which was previously produced in a limited edition of 270 pieces, also provided a 70-year warranty, drawing attention. The retail price is 19,000 EUR (EUR), and the exact domestic launch price is yet to be determined.
